RECOGNISE YOUR WORTH

Hey…

I am not a psychologist or a mental health professional,  what I’m sharing here is just my thoughts and my understanding.

We are all different people. Adjusting to others without respecting yourself can hurt you more than you realise. Sometimes you may not even notice it, but slowly it creates discomfort and insecurity.

For example, imagine you go out casually with friends. Everyone orders tea, but you actually want coffee. Still, you stay quiet and go along with tea. If you keep staying silent in small situations like this, you might start staying silent in bigger situations too.

I understand that everyone faces different circumstances. But let me say this clearly — don’t try to please people all the time. No one can take care of you better than you can. Your mental health and self-respect matter.

Constant people-pleasing can lead to self-doubt. You may start feeling like you’re not good enough and begin changing yourself just to fit others’ expectations. If this becomes a habit, it can affect you deeply.

You shouldn’t have to prove your value to anyone.
The right people usually recognise your worth without you having to struggle for validation.
